03.16.09 - The Milwaukee Institute and Foley & Lardner co-hosted an introductory Intellectual Property forum on Thursday, April 16 at Foley. A key element in facilitating innovation and entrepreneurship is more efficient technology transfer between collaborators in both public and private domains. The IP Forum is envisioned as a regional professional activity that will assist academic institutions, commercial enterprises and regulatory agencies with developing and promulgating IP policies and mechanisms deamed useful in creating innovative and competitive public-private partnerships. This initial meeting was limited to a small group; future opportunties are anticipated for the larger community.
