Advancing Research, Education and Economic Development
The Milwaukee Institute is dedicated to advancing scientific research, education and economic development through expansion and more effective use of available scientific and technology resources in the SE Wisconsin (M7) region.
As an independent not-for-profit organization, the goals of the Institute include promoting advanced technology development by offering collaboration and high-performance computing systems and services that encourage and enable cooperation among public and private research and development organizations, businesses, educational institutions and government agencies.
Working within the Institute and at its affiliated institutions, researchers will be seeking solutions to important large-scale scientific, business and social "grand challenge" problems relevant to the economic development objectives of the region, work to be guided by participants in the Industry Clusters identified above.
